How we handle your information.
This page explains, in plain words, what information this website and its community channels collect, why, and what you can choose. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
This website, idowuobabalola.com, is run by Idowu O. Babalola in Nigeria. If you have any question about your information, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Visit information. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It shows us totals such as which pages are read, which country visitors come from, the type of device and browser, and which site sent the visitor. It does not use cookies and it does not identify you personally. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also handles technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the website and keep it secure.
Email sign-up. If you join our email list, we collect the email address (and name, if we ask for it) that you type into the form. We only collect it when you choose to give it.
Messages. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the details you share so that we can reply.
WhatsApp community. If you join our WhatsApp group, WhatsApp shows your name and phone number to the group admin and may show it to other members. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to how it handles your information.
Why we use it
- To send you teachings, news about books, ministry updates and free resources that you asked to receive.
- To reply to your messages and enquiries.
- To understand how many people visit, so that we can improve the website and its teaching.
- To build a community of people who want to grow in the knowledge of Christ.
Your choice and consent
Joining the email list or the WhatsApp group is always your choice. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the WhatsApp group at any time. We will not add you to anything without your agreement.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information. We use trusted services to run the website and the community: Cloudflare (hosting and visit counts), an email service provider (to store the list and send emails) and WhatsApp (community group). These services process information for us under their own privacy policies.
This website also links to other places, such as Spotify, Selar, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they use your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you stay on the list. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it. Messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply and follow up.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is written for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before you give us any personal information.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
